Ok so the time has come to ditch the bottle glass in my kit and get 2 good lenses.

      Currently have
      18-55 kit lens
      24mm pancake
      50mm kit lens
      10-18 lens
      70-300 kit lens

I’d like to replace them with:
      Sigma 18-35 F1.8 Art
      Sigma 50-100 F1.8 Art

I don’t do any work that warrants a 70-300 for example. My focus is on portrait and product photography with the occasional landscape thrown in for fun.

      Thoughts?

Keep the 24mm pancake,it makes a great walk about lens, light and unobtrusive

Have to agree. Out of all lenses I have gone through in my LBA and phasing, the pancakes are the ones I regret getting rid of. Selling them usually yields no significant economic gains or ‘returns’, so keeping them on some selica gel in the cupboard for a year or two, does no harm… they always come out again :)
