What is NSFW & Unsuitable Content?

In order to maintain a safe and inclusive environment for people from all walks of life, we ask that NSFW Content be labeled accurately in order to cater to the preferred experience of our entire community. NSFW Content includes, but is not necessarily limited to nudity, or partial nudity (both front and back side) with or without sexual implications. NSFW Content may also include shocking or disturbing images, such as violence or blood, not typically suitable for viewers under the age of 18. Your cover and profile photos should also not contain any NSFW Content.

NSFW Content Moderation

Outdoorphoto does not allow visual material containing the description or display of sexual organs or activity. Overtly sexual images or images portraying sexual acts are also unacceptable. Excessive gore, violence, cruelty (animal or otherwise) and any form of illegal activity (depending on the context to which it has been uploaded) is also prohibited. Images of cultural appropriation may also be considered unsuitable content, depending on the context of the image. If this type of content is found on your Outdoorphoto Account, it will be removed and you will be warned once, then banned if the activity continues.

It's important to recognise that the filtering or removal of content on Outdoorphoto is the sole discretion of our moderators. We have a team of photo moderators that monitor the site. We also have an automated moderation system. If a photo is reported for being improperly marked as NSFW Content by a member of the Outdoorphoto Community, a moderator will look at the photo to determine if it is NSFW Content or not. As per our Terms of Service, our moderators reserve the right to filter and/or remove content at anytime without detailed explanation.

How to enable NSFW on your account

By default, all NSFW content is hidden from view on the Outdoorphoto Community website. If you’d like to enable it, navigate to your Profile > Settings > Preference and tick the “Show NSFW content” box.

To send a private message to a Friend fill in their username in the "Send To" field.

To send a private message to someone that is not connected to you as a friend, please visit their profile page and click the "Private Message" button below their banner.
