Just get Tracks4Africa, then you have all that info, plus all the tracks (with offroad routing) on your GPS.

    …Columbus still got lost? ๐Ÿ™‚
Now if he’d had his Tom-Tom he would’ve known they were “RED” Indians! ๐Ÿ™‚

Hee…each to their own. I just put the info out there. Don’t use it or reply to this thread if it’s not useful.
Thanks for the Tracks4Africa link Dirk.
Now to just actually get to some of these places?

I see, still using your old film cameras in the bush, much safer that way. ๐Ÿ˜€

It is a brilliant product, and since it is community based for updates also very current. Even better since they added routing to the offroad tracks.

(Just be careful with that Tom-Tom, not sure if they support it yet…..up to now it’s been a Garmin product.)

T4A did approach Tom-Tom some time ago, they did’nt want to come to the party.
    Still only Garmin.
There are future talks about T4A on Android. T4A and Google is working together for a long time.
T4A paper maps for Bots and Namibia is available. They did start working on paper maps for Moz and Malawi.

    Jacana GPS List

Sample from it: Baines Drift 22.29.825 028.42.086

Very important to take note of:

    Format is: Degrees.Minutes.Decimals of Minutes

Be sure your gps is set to the same format if you want to use it.
We normally use hddd.ddddd at T4A.

    Big difference between 22.29.825 028.42.086 and S22.29825 E28.42086

Baines Drift on T4A is at S22.49719 E28.70191 in hddd.ddddd format.

Not much chance of getting lost between Croco Bridge and Tamboti now, is there? ๐Ÿ˜€
