I’d say give the small stuff to the lab.
Try your best (may the force be with you) to find out what profiles they use for various media, download them and imbed them into your images (convert to the appropriate profile).
Home printing is/was fun, but ink and paper costs now gallop away into the sunset. And, I’m still figuring out how labs manage to print a grayscale image in colour.
They can’t seem to print a simple grayscale as a grayscale,
without turning the darn thing to RGB and messing up the colour-balance. :confused:
