Overcast and no light to work with.
So I tried a flash mounded on the Camera.
That creates a steel/red eye and a white background.
I got the eye mostly fixed with software and kept a little of the flash as a catch light. Not very natural.
vignetting was used to get rid of the overpowering light background. I do understand that an off camera flash would be better, but practically through a car window to keep it pointing at the subject and separate it enough is quite a challenge.

Overall end effect is good enough.
