      Listed as Critically Endangered in Southern Africa due mainly to wetland degradation and agricultural activities, wattled cranes are still to be found in reasonable numbers in the Okavango Delta where this juvenile was photgraphed.

      Never seen this bird before, thanks for posting and the write up! On the image, try reducing the blue saturation, it will improve your whites and blacks in the image that are in shadow. Try this with your buffalo's as well.
